The activity developed by the Safety Coordinator is the visible face the “client” during the course of work. Is it the “client” to delegate the responsibility for development work in safety and compliance the Safety and Health Plan (SHP).
The Safety Coordinator must be appointed before the start of the work to validate the specification and development of the Safety and Health Plan (SHP) prepared by the Performer.
The independence required between the Entity Performer and the Safety Coordinator are necessary to ensure the principle of impartiality. The responsibilities of each are clearly defined and complementary to the same goal: the safety of workers.
