The coordinator for safety and health during the project's work is the person, individual or collective, named by the “Client” to perform the tasks of coordination of security provided for in Decree-Law 273/03.
The main tasks of the Safety Coordinator are:
- Integrate the general principles of prevention of architectural options and technical choices used in project through active exchange of information with designers;
- Develop the Health and Safety Plan for the prevention of risks on yard;
- Organize and initiate the compilation of technical work, aimed at the prevention of occupational risks during the work, as well as during the subsequent action to its conclusion (maintenance, repair, alterations and demolitions).
